have my .cshrc or .login invoke bash

hello.
please excuse my English.

I want to use bash as much as possible. But instead of changing my default shell in /etc/passwd, because not all my machines have bash, I want to *csh* as my default shell and do this:

Have my .cshrc to *check* for bash, and then if it exists, invoke it.
I am kind of newbie. Can somebody tell me if this is possible?

thanks you,
Mattie

You will need to do it in your .login, I'm not much of a csh programmer, so I'll leave that up to you. However, if you invoke a shell from within a shell, you will need to log out twice.
