Have a dual boot system..Xubuntu and XP..I need help configuring Network settings

I recently changed Internet providers,as i moved to the country..
I have a dual boot system..Now i have windows configured and i have internet access, however i am having problems getting access on Xubuntu?
Exactly what steps do i take to set up the net work?
I have a dsl connection..
Hoping someone can tell me how to get internet access on xubuntu asap,i have been learning and loving Linux and having to go back to windows is not something i am liking a lot right now..i want my Linux lol..

Try using the network manager.
