iam new to linux ihave installed ubuntu 8.1 in my system but internet connection is not working in my system only the in suse distro is connecting internet here iam enclosing the chk this link error

I hope I understand what you're trying to say:
1) In SUSE everything works, including the internet. Why then don't you like it? What else is wrong there?
2) In Mint6 things work except the internet. We can help you solve it if you tell us what kind of internet connection you have and what network card. Don't put the data on google docs.
3) If you want Ubuntu to work we can also help you. At this stage, however, the subject is too unfocused.

I suggest you decide if you like SUSE or Mint better (personally I prefer Mint) and start with them.

you have understand my quarry exactly it is hath way broadband it is a cable modem based connection there is no user id password just plug the modem in Ethernet and surf here i have given the network configuration and my modem model if you want more details i will furnish that later
