Hard Drive Usage
 
My son just installed Linux Mandrake . Is there an easy graphical way to see how much of the hard drive is in use?

not sure about graphical...but if you open a terminal (konsole, xterm) and type "df -h" it will list the stats for you...

You probably have KDE desktop by default. So run KDE Control Centre and choose Informations and then 'Storage devices' (or something of simialr meaning, I'm translating back to English).
