hard drive detecting problem

Hi All,

I am using fedora 15 core 32 bit when am trying to start the system it's hanging and it's showing a blank screen.

Then tried to log in through single user mode after log in in a single mode i have trying to attach a external HD but its not detecting.

What i have to do to detect the HD i have some useful information on my PC

please provide any solution

Remove the drive

edit /etc/fstab to allow for the drive


plug in drive

turn on system
