Sorry that im a linux noob. I guess we all start somewhere. The problem is, I have installed Hamachi 0.9.9.9 on my Suse 10 box. However I am having problems. When running from console, I get this error message.

27 21:21:57.784 [ 0] [26460] tap: connect() failed 2 (No such file or directory)


After looking around for help I found a Graphical frontend for the program. Running it. (ghamachi) It tells me that I need a TAP/TUN device driver to operate. Then asks to load 'tunecfg' with sudo. After putting in root password. It then tells me it cant find a TAP/TUN. ... Great.

I'm running Fedora 7 and I'm having the same problem. Let me know if you figure out whats wrong.

After running tuncfg the problem is gone.

I had the same problem... the thing is that ghamachi needs hamachi to run, so install that first and that should solve the TAP/TUN problem.
