Halloo.. I'm newbie linux user and I want to ask a question about my laptop display is too big i think its because of my screen resolution, how can I change my monitor resolution?

There are several ways, but you don't say what version/distro of Linux, or what kind of laptop you're using. Without details, people can't help you.
