Guru And Lilo...The Horrors again

THANK YOU scott_R for bringing that up...I have been using an old floppy to boot from and i hope to god that i believe this is why i have been getting the error message. I thought maybe it was the Very old floppys to go out in a a lot of runs.

But when ive tried Guru and LiLO...I put it on my master boot record and it did this when i booted my computer. Windose is on my master hdd and Redhat on the slave hdd.
But i havn't installed Guru or Lilo but i have before and when i booted my computer all it did was display GURU_ and just hang there and do absolutly nothing. Lilo was the same way except it displayed L_ and just hung there and do nothing. I put it on my master boot record and it did this when i booted my computer. Windose is on my master hdd and Redhat on the slave hdd.
~i had to reformate my hdd with windows but i didn't give a f*#$.~

How can i get rid of lilo or Guru if this happens again.
Or Is there a diagnostic maybe i could cheak the floppy with i go into my computer and click on A:\ and it still dispalys BOOT,INTRID,LDLINUX,VMLINUZ, SYSLINUX.cfg.

To get rid of a boot loader on your mbr, boot with a windows boot floppy and then use the command:
fdisk \mbr
to reformat your mbr.
