GUI and text login

Hi Guys,

I am having a problem here with my linux advanced server login. I normlly use GUI option to login. By accident, the system was shutdown and when i brought it back up i could only log in using the text mode.

Any clues on how to switch back to the GUI mode?

Change the default runlevel to 4 in /etc/inittab. This allows a gui login

ok in text mode, find file in /etc/inittab, found the entry init:3:initdefault and change it to init:5:initdefault.
Normally init 5 is run level for XWINDOW
