GTK Themes & Debian testing/unstable

Got the appropriate GTK+ engines installed, thanks to the asissting person in my last thread. However, when I apply themes with gtk-theme-select2 (or gtk-theme-select for that matter), it doesn't actually apply them.

I've got the latest unstable versions of gtk, gnome, e, etc.

What am I missing?

GTK2 engines will only affect GTK2 apps, and the same of course applies to "classical" GTK+ engines and themes. Are you sure you are viewing an GTK2 app when changing the engine?

I am running Sarge on this laptop and it works flawlessly for me (just tried).
