GTK+-2.1.5 Problem
I have been trying to install wxPython, but when i use ./configure
it gives me the following error :
checking for GTK - version >= 1.2.7... no
*** Could not run GTK test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means GTK was incorrectly installed

*** may want to edit the gtk-config script: /usr/bin/gtk-config
checking for gtk-config... (cached) /usr/bin/gtk-config
checking for GTK - version >= 1.2.3... no

where GTK+ libraries are installed (returned by
'gtk-config --libs' command) is in LD_LIBRARY_PATH or
equivalent variable and GTK+ is version 1.2.3 or above.
I have configured the GTK+-2.1.5, but when i try wxPython it is not able to find the latest GTK+-2.1.5. I have also used ldconfig while doing the wxPython.
Please help me out. I have been stuggling a lot....

gtk2 is *NOT* gtk, they are seperate libraries, so you need gtk version 1 installed aswell as version 2.
btw, am i right in guessing this is for pyslsk? that's an icky program to install... as you're finding out.
