grumpy old man

 It all started with a old carpet, and a netbook, my wife got one for my grandaughter for christmas, it's got linpus which looks a brilliant program for children 5 to 12yr olds its got everything on it apart from a cd(dvd)rom, is that one of the reasons they have taken been back, not because arrh its linux NO cd(dvd)rom, Just say auntie viv asks WHAT, laptop for christmas I'll buy her favorite puppy(cat)(any)game, she be able to use on her new laptop.:(.

With me being apprentice LINUX user, I love it for one its nothing to with micheal gates AND its nearly 100% user friendly which is GREAT.

An another thing I was reading comments about pclinux how it looks like vista whats wrong, people or users were brought up on windows so if (os) or distro looks similar so what, if users that are used to windows think lets give it a go, and like me and others who are getting the linux bug.
If opensource programmers could make linux more compatible with windows games would more users use linux ???.

Though klaus knopplar hope my spelling is right not my grammer, one of the first but not the last. 25yrs ago came up opensource linux its still unknown to a lot people, a lot people I have talked to about :Pengy: didnt now about :Pengy: and me a user have tryed to get them interested init and keep on plugging it. :D
