grub2

I am very curious about updated graphics in GRUB2.
So I want to compile and load grub2.
Where can i get the grub2 source code.

While browsing i got two links[/COLOR]
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/grub
http://svn.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/t...ub2/?root=grub

first one has upto 1.98. Second link is not working.
Can someone point the link where GRUB2 is available.

1.98 is the latest version of Grub2. Grub has always been funny like that. The original grub never even reached 1.0. I think the last version was 0.97.

What distribution are you using? Chances are, there's already a package compiled that you could just install from your repos.

NOTE: The BZR repo doesn't support source-browsing, so you'll need to get a copy of the repo with bzr branch http://bzr.savannah.gnu.org/r/grub/trunk/grub.
