grub not showing WinXP

Hello,
I apologize if this has been asked before, but I can't find the answer anywhere and I am on a time budget.

I was running Windows XP installed on the primary IDE HD, formatted as NTFS. I installed a second HD on the machine and installed Redhat 7.2 on that HD only. I decided to try GRUB instead of LILO. The Linux install went perfectly. upon reboot, GRUB comes up with only Linux as a bootable OS. I know that i installed GRUB on the MBR of hda. I don't have a floppy drive, but i can buy and install one if need be. All i need to do is get into my windows partition and grab a few files. If there is a way i can Mount an NTFS drive, that would be good, but if i could get GRUB to recognize both Linux AND WinXP, that would be ideal.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jake

Try adding these lines to your grub.conf or menu.lst file. Look in the /boot/grub folder for those files.

title winxp
rootnoverify=(hd0,0)
makeactive
chainloader +1

The (hd0,0) is the same as hda1. I am assuming that is where winxp is installed. This may or may not work.
