Someone please help me to solve this problem. My laptop HP nx6120
I don't have cd, I install debian linux from internet website .
System: Debian 2.0

How exactly did you install Debian? Did you download an iso and create a bootable USB? (I assume your nx6120 supports booting from USB.) I can't think how else you would have done it. But if you can create a "Live" bootable USB, we can go ahead and examine what partitions and OSes are on the hard drive.

Has it ever worked or have you had this error since trying to install Debian?
