GRUB Loading Stage2...

I am new to linux. As a administrator i was able to install FEDORA 8 and it was working good for couple of months. Today i encountered a strange problem when i rebooted. I got this error and the system stopped doing any action. It isnt even giving me precisely what this error is about.

GRUB Loading Stage2...

Please help me out.

Hi and welcome to LQ.

If you have the Fedora installation DVD or Rescue Disc, you can boot into rescue mode and reinstall Grub. This article explains how to boot into rescue mode. When you see the command prompt after booting into rescue mode, run "grub-install /dev/hdx" and if thats successful, reboot. Replace hdx with the actual device name of the dirve where grub is installed e.g. /dev/hda.
