Grub loader not booting Windows XP
I bought a second disk for my pc and installed Fedora 10. Had to change boot settings to boot pc from new disk to get Grub loader menu. When I select Windows XP and hit enter, PC will not boot. I checked config file and is just like in the book. To boot Windows, I have to reset bios boot settings to boot from Windows disks. Has anybody encoutered this problem?

Lots of people have - as a search of LQ would attest. Let's see your /boot/grub/menu.lst

Found my problem. My windows xp disk has two partitions. Upon closer inspection, I found that grub.conf was pointing to first partition which is set up as the "windows recovery" partition. Changed stanza to point to second pardition (hd0,1) which is the actual windows partition, and now I can multiboot.
