GRUB Issues with SATA HD

Hi all, I just installed Fedora Core 3 on an extra IDE hard drive I have sitting around my house. Now... GRUB installed itself to the IDE hard drive. Personally, I don't care where grub wants to sit itself down, however Windows is on my SATA HD and for some reason when I try to load Windows XP it just doesn't work. It just sits there trying to load it... Fedora Core 3 runs fine, and if I want to run Windows XP I can tell the bios to load off the SATA hard drive, but this is a pain, so I was wondering what I need to do to the grub config files to get it to point to the correct place, or if I screwed something up along the way...

Thanks for your time. ^^

your bios normally tries to find ide b4 sata

if you have only 2 drives the sata should be hd1

check this if you like
