Grub error

When I start my notebook with Kodachi, the system enters the "grub rescue" giving me the following error:
Error: unknown filesystem

I have executed the following commands (note: msdos7 is where /boot is):
set boot = (hd0, msdos7)
set prefix = (hd0, msdos7)/grub
normal insmod

I must clarify that the "grub" folder is not found in /boot/grub. The "grub" folder (at least in my case) is in /grub
When I make the last command I receive the following error:
error: file '/grub/i386-pc/normal.mod' not found
But my system is 64 bits and it uses EFI, and the file 'normal.mod' is in /grub/x86_64-efi/, not in /grub/i386-pc/

How can I make the system look for the 'normal.mod' in the correct folder?

Is this a Legacy/CSM install on a GPT/UEFI machine? Can you mount the EFI partition and see if you have the proper EFI file for Kodachi? Would there happen to be another OS installed? s Could you post a link to whatever 'Kodachi' is?

I have already been able to solve the problem.
I just looked for the /grub/i386-pc/ folder on the removable drive and put it in the grub directory of the already installed system. That way the grub found the file it required to boot.
