yeah im new to linux and dont know too much about the bootloader i chose to use, grub. i was able to switch the default over from linux to winxp, but i would also like to add another entry .. i want the other entry to be the exact same as the windows entry now, but i want it to show the bootmenu instead, so i can get into safemode when i want to .. anyone know the command or a website with a list of grub commands .. thanks

thanks, but where in that article did it tell me how to have a bootmenu come up for winxp?

I think you are referring to a windows bootloader option and not an option of grub.

safe mode should still come up if you hit F8 right away.
