Grub


what is the grub equivalent of lilos "vga=773"?

just installed gentoo 1.4, this is my first encounter with grub.

Just put it at the end of the line with a space before it like this
kernel /boot/lfskernel root=/dev/hda7 vga=788
I've not tried 773, I might give it a go. If It's not working you may need to recompile your kernel to enable framebuffer support.
