Group email

I would like to send an email to a user group.
Is there a quick way to do it like (@desiredgroup) or do I have to mail every single user individually?

Yes, you can send emails to a particular group. What I use to do is that I have created an aliases wherein all the email entries are made. When I want to send email to that particular group I type in the alias name.
