Question Grip skips tracks


Does anyone know why gRip skips tracks?

linuxfond: Have you tried ripping the tracks using "cdda2wav"?

Here is output of the shell:
$ grip
004 : Unable to read table of contents header
Unable to open disk. Is there an audio CD in teh dribve?004: Unable to read table of contenct header.

________
The above is repeated 6 times.

However, the table of contents IS found and is correctly displayed in the grip, and the CD is found and the ripping goes on.

The grip suddenly stops ripping/encoding after one, two or three tracks have been ripped and encoded.

Now idea why his happen.

Try cleaning the disk. cdparanoia won't rip bad tracks like Windows software does. It just gives up after so many tries.
