Hi all,

You can congratulate me with my very first post at Linux-related websites/forums. I'm a 32 y.o. male from from Baku, Azerbaijan. Currently working in the oil & gas business but always keen on computer systems and Web 2.0, in particular. My hobbies include linguistics, flight simulation and cooking :)

Well, I've been inspired to shift to Linux after reading (yes, all 891 pages!) Christopher Negus's fantastic "Linux Bible". Yet I've decided to register at this wonderful webspace to be able to be part of one of the many Linux communities. I strongly hope that you fellow members will help me to get through my first Linux experience. I'm soooo excited to make the first steps... trying Kubuntu now.
