graphics card problem?

I am running a nvidia geforce fx5500 graphics card and have tried to get X configured right... after i installed linux SuSE 10.1 i could watch videos and stuff using my video player but after i misconfigured X and had to correct it and do some stuff manually i cant even do that now... i have installed the drivers off of nvidias FTP server using YAST but when i try install the kernel i get this error.. and i think that this could be the problem

Maybe it's talking about kernel module thing it compiles when you install the kernel using their own installer. You can try doing that, it might work.

Just download it from the nvidia site.
