LinuxQuestions.org - graphic problems after grub and before kernel

well here is my kernel config file. i just recently recompiled it and added in my AMD and nVidia support under IDE so i could turn DMA on. I also noticed while poking around my proc family was under p4 when in fact it needed to be under athlon. :eek: (now my noobiness is really showing). anyhow after doing so my nvidia drivers wont load now. but anyway theres probably quite a few things wrong in my config file so dont laugh to hard but this was my first time compiling a kernel. my previous experience with linux is installing redhat and relying on kudzo to do the work. but so far i've gotten my usb wheel mouse and buttons to function properly and my usb extigy card to work so im not doing to bad i dont think
