GPU Question

Hello, I'm a Linux beginner, and was wondering if there's anyway to tell if a GPU will be Linux compatible. The GPU is an nVidia Geforce Go 6600, in a Qunta KN1-PM Notebook, and the distro I plan on getting is CentOS. Will it be fine?

You should be perfectly fine with running most recent GPU's in linux. Check driver section for the drivers and readme file. I'm pretty sure your card is supported under the nvidia linux drivers, but I would check their documentation to make sure

I'm currently running a 6600GT and the drivers work great. If anyone is interested in it let me know You can contribute to my 7800GTX fund and get a new card in the process
