GPG Help !!

I am trying to secure my email, but I cannot figure out where I am going run. I am using Fedora 10 w/evolution. I get this error message when I use the pgp sign and pgp encrypt i get this error message

Because "gpg: david_schropp@yahoo.com: skipped: public key not found
gpg: [stdin]: encryption failed: public key not found
", you may need to select different mail options.

Any leads would be helped or any more information is needed I will do my best.

Thanks

Do you have a valid and trusted public key for the mail address "david_schropp@yahoo.com" ?

This is a great how-to covering gpg and keys. well worth the time to read and review to get an understanding of keys, keyrings, keysigning, etc..
http://www.cryptnet.net/fdp/crypto/k...ing_party.html

it will explain how to retrieve that users public key,
how to sign that users key,
how to upload that signed key back to the key server
how to view the keys in your ring.

I know the enigmail plugin for Thunderbird allows you to do all those functions through a GUI, I'm not sure what options evolution gives you, since I never run evolution. .

From the looks of the gpg GUI in evolution you should be able to import public keys from a keyserver easily enough.. http://support.real-time.com/linux/e...lutionpgp.html
