Google & FTP software.

Hi,

I have two questions to ask:

1. Is there a way to add Google bar or sth similar in my web Browser?
2. I need to access my ftp account, what software shall i use?

Thanks.

1) Which browser are you using. Firefox has it automatically. Don't know about others though.
2) I use gftp to access my ftp servers.

Hello Amer,

You did not say what browser you are using, but I think you can find here the Google Bar you need.

http://googlebar.mozdev.org/

If you need a Google Bar with Google PageRanking, the you can look at

http://www.prgooglebar.org/

darkleaf Thanks for the tip, I installed firefox and yes it has the google SE.

I have installed Gftp, if i run the command /usr/share/gftp/
the program will load, I have tried to create a short cut with the same path but it didn't work, what am i doing wrong.

Thanks.

Dummy-in-Linux thanks a lot man, I never knew that firefox supports PR.

Which desktop environment are you running on which you create the shortcut? From the top of my head I'd say try including the path in two "s like this: "/usr/share/gftp"
