Google & FTP software.
Hi,
I have two questions to ask: 1. Is there a way to add Google bar or sth similar in my web Browser? 2. I need to access my ftp account, what software shall i use? Thanks. |
1) Which browser are you using. Firefox has it automatically. Don't know about others though.
2) I use gftp to access my ftp servers. |
Hello Amer,
You did not say what browser you are using, but I think you can find here the Google Bar you need. http://googlebar.mozdev.org/ If you need a Google Bar with Google PageRanking, the you can look at http://www.prgooglebar.org/ |
darkleaf Thanks for the tip, I installed firefox and yes it has the google SE.
I have installed Gftp, if i run the command /usr/share/gftp/ the program will load, I have tried to create a short cut with the same path but it didn't work, what am i doing wrong. Thanks. Dummy-in-Linux thanks a lot man, I never knew that firefox supports PR. |
Which desktop environment are you running on which you create the shortcut? From the top of my head I'd say try including the path in two "s like this: "/usr/share/gftp"
