good samba tutorial

Does anyone know where I can find any good samba tutorial? I want to install suse 9.3 but without having to burn the 5cds. I want to host the ISOs on my ntfs or fat32 partitions from the target computer or from a separate pc which are connected using lan. I wish to know how can I connect to the windows partition on the computer I want to install linux on or to the other pc and then what do I do to mount the ISOs and such. I don't have linux installed on the target pc only because windows crashed my whole system and I had to sacrifice linux partition and install windows so the old partition would not be overwritten because I wanted to recover some of the files, so now I only have a windows xp and a blank partition ready for install of linux.

I've searched this site but have not found anything relevant and I've looked at samba.org but they go over how to setup office network, ect. I can't find anything that would show me the procedure for a SMB install (or whatever the correct option is) option. I can't find anything on suse's document site either...any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could save the ISOs to the computer you will dualboot with (I presume you are going to dualboot) and then just mount the isos from the windows partitions and install. It's possible, but it will take some time for you to learn if you are a newbie in linux. But it is an easier way to install and much more to be gained for you :)

However if you wish to install from a network computer, you will probably need samba. You will have to get a distro that supports that. Probably Knoppix or such a live CD to start off with.
