Hi everybody
I use suse linux 9.3
Every time I run the avast virus scanner I got in the error logging Kde socket missing what does it mean?
When I try to scan /sys/dev the system reboot automaticcaly
I am totally in the dark
I can not ask avast I use the home version
Can anybody help me out

Not that this has anything to do with your problems...but...

SuSE 9.3 is dated. If you want SuSE, I would recommend upgrading to the most recent release, which I believe is 10.3.

If you'd like something other than openSUSE, there are plenty of more modern and updated distributions out there.

Was it really that hard to come up with a decent thread title?

Please when setting the thread subject, use something relevant. This will attract people who are best able to answer your question. "good", doesn't tell anyone anything. I know nothing of your question. If you had titled it something like "avant error when scanning".

Also, if you see an error message, please post it into the message - we cannot guess what it says, you have to tell us.

Not to hijack, that seriously had me laughing for a good five minutes.
