gobject-introspection package installation

While installing gobject-introspection in SUSE 10, i got the below error message.

make[2]: Entering directory `/opt/gimp_dump/gobject-introspection-0.9.12/gir'
Makefile:808: *** Need to define GLib_2_0_gir_LIBS or GLib_2_0_gir_PROGRAM. Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/opt/gimp_dump/gobject-introspection-0.9.12/gir'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/opt/gimp_dump/gobject-introspection-0.9.12'
make: *** [all] Error 2

Any suggestion on this.

Regards,
Mugunthan R
