Gnutella GTK dependencies issues
I tried installing Limewire but I got some JVM issues, which I installed but doesnt seem to work, so I decided to try Gnutella gtk but I got this error when compiling. does anyone know what I should do, or what library is it asking for.
Thanks Cleric # rpm -ivh gtk-gnutella-0.94-1.gtk1.i386.rpm warning: gtk-gnutella-0.94-1.gtk1.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 03436be1 error: Failed dependencies: libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3.4) is needed by gtk-gnutella-0.94-1.gtk1 |
if you are using Slackware as listed under your nick, try a .tgz compiled for 10.0:

or try MLDonkey, it can connect to different servers like kazaa, gnutella, bittorrent, direct connect, overnet and a few more. it's REALLY good! http://mldonkey.org

Not slack..Redhat9
I have one machine with Slack 10...that one is under repairs for now, but my other machine, runs RedHat 9 I changed from slack 9 just to mess around, and see..but I find lots of dependenies issues when installing software like limeware...also I did not realize that when trying to use XMMS just to listen to mp3's redhat does not package the needed rpm's becuasing of licensing issues, then I needed to get those online. Also with AMSN, I tried installing it but I am now missing a /usr/bin/wish dir....I have much better luck at slack..why is red hat being such a B**CH...anyways..
