The name of the binary is possibly gtk-gnutella (at least it was that for me).
Mine was installed to:
If you still cannot find it, open a terminal window, and search it entering:
find / -name 'gnutella'
It will show you the full path to the binary.
However, I did not like gnutella because I could hardly ever finish downloading anything. Lime wire was a bit better, but it was still not as good as Audiogalaxy a long time ago. (But one day audiogalaxy upgraded itself and from that day it was no longer usable in windows, and I could never make its Linux version work)

popcorn, you may want to shoot around and chat on irc, and if you are lucky you can find someone with an FTP server full of songs you'd like. Other than just going out and getting the CD's that's the best thing I can think of since gtk-gnutella won't work for you. There are other "command line" options that you may want to look into, I don't know if they would help though since your problem is bandwidth and not resources.

what you need to do is install a hotline client on your machine and then find some good trackers. i think linux versions of hotline are HSX and GSX, and fidelo. hotlines definetly the way to go, it blows gnutella networks away.
