gnome xscreensaver unlock screen does not appear

The gnome xscreensaver unlock screen does not apper while the 10ns Molecular Dynamics Simulation running on Intel Xeon quad core processor of IBM server with the RHEL 5.4 OS. So kindly do the needful to unlock the screen.............thanks in advance

Ok, so it doesn't appear... Is it supposed to? Since you have a program running, it may be interfering with it, and may be disabling it. Can you manually start it?

ya I can manually restart the server but the need is I want to login the server to check, whether the program is still running or disabling because now the server is running........
