Gnome-terminal problem

Okay, I finally got gnome-terminal installed and working, and it all worked just how I wanted it to; got it set up with the font I wanted and made the background transparent. Now, on my linux box (slackware 10.2) I have a user that runs fluxbox and a user that runs KDE. After I got my gnome-terminal customized on my fluxbox user, I decided to log out and go mess around with KDE for awhile. When I was done with KDE, I went back to my fluxbox user, and my gnome-terminal will no longer show a transparent background. I turned off transparency and turned it back on, reset gnome-terminal, made a brand new profile for it, and reset my linux box, and it will still not show any transparency. Any ideas?

Sometimes it can be the program that is setting your background that messes fake transparency up. I use a program called 'feh'.
