Unhappy gnome-terminal Command to open up a new tab....


Are there a command to open up a new tab in gnome terminal(Ctrl+T outcome). I need it to use with in bash script.Any idea please....

if its not in man page than you can try sending keystroke with xvkbd command

you can use --tab option

Code:
gnome-terminal --tab 

gnome-terminal --tab --tab <- it will open two tabs
