Question Gnome panels

How do I get Gnome's weather and tasklist panels to start every time I login?

Try the gnome control center. It should be under the settings menu of the foot button. Alternatively, type gcc at the command line. From there you can click on the "startup programs" menu. That should have what you're looking for.

That should be gnomecc not gcc - otherwise you'll be trying to compile something.

You could alternatively just add the applets you want "Save current setup" when you logout.
