gnome inbox applet set up

I'm trying to get this working in Fedora core 2 with Evolution. The inbox settings are "local mailspool" and /var/spool/mail/alan. What should I change these to to make it work with evolution. It's just an normal ISP pop3 email. No mail servers or anything.

Thanks for any help, I'm not sure of all the terminology and the help is no help
