gnome directory browsing
I'm using Mandrake 10.2 with a gnome desktop cause I prefer it to KDE. The only thing is whenever I browse through directories it opens up a new window for each folder so I end up with about 20 windows after a while if i dont keep on top of it. Is there a setting I can go to where every folder I click on opens up in the current window?? And if possible is there back, forward and up level buttons I can put on the windows.

Well there's two ways you can go, you can launch nautilus with the command
nautilus --browser or you can launch the gconf-editor and navigate to Apps> Nautilus> Preferences and tick the box always_use_browser |
much better, thanks.:)
I'll get the hang of this one day. |
