gnome background centered on edge of screen
greetings
system: ubuntu (gnome) ati drivers dual screen i have a strange problem. my desktop wallpaper is centered on the right edge of my right screen how do i reset this to have the center point between the two screens? (left edge of right screen) or failing that what about something to have different images on each desktop? |

Besides what CITguy already said, the easiest way to make sure that the wallpaper is displayed just like you want it to be is to create a wallpaper in gimp that will have the combined size of both monitors.
If you want one image on each monitor, just launch gimp and make a composition with two wallpapers at the desired size. That way there won't be anything to worry about. Gimp is your friend. |
