Gnome applications in KDE using very large fonts

I'm running a few Gnome apps in KDE, namely Gaim and Nicotine. I'm finding that these apps are running with really large fonts and look pretty damn ugly, is there any way i can resolve this? i haven't been able to find any obvious methods.

Thanks for any help
