Gnash swf viewer doesn't work on Ubuntu

I have some .swf files that I want to view and I used Ubuntu Software Center to download Gnash SWF Viewer but it doesn't work and I still can't view the files. What should I do?

I just open them with Firefox and use the Adobe Flash plugin.

I had a similar issue. You can only use one or the other I found. You could try uninstalling the one you donít want.

apt-get remove package
