Authentication problem with Evolution

First of all i have to say that iam a bloody LINUX newbie. I have just started with LINUX...
so here is my question and i hope that someone is able to help me.

i try to configure evolution eMail for my GMX account.
POP3 => pop.gmx.net
outgoing Mail=> mail.gmx.net

so far i have configured everythink in evolution.
if i try to get my mails from the GMX server i receive the following ERROR:
"MAIL FROM response error: {mp016} cannot resolve your domain"

cannot resolve your domain??? hmmm...no idea what is going on

if i try to send an eMail i receive the same error only with "{mp009}" and not {mp013}

someone an idea??
THX
