gmplayer crashes too frequently

I am using Fedora Core1

I use gmplayer to play my video files
I had installed it from a RPM package

The problem is that it crashes too frequently
and gives the error message

"gmplayer interrupted by signal11 or module 11
in video_decode.
this shouldn't have happened and appears to be a bug in

and then gmplayer crashes.
How can i rectify this problem
