gfxboot package in ubuntu
Can anybody explain to me how to use the gfxboot and gfxboot-ubuntu-themes packages in ubuntu. I had no problem installing them with apt, but I can't find any docs or howtos on how to acutrally use the packages.

forgive me for jumping in.
gfxmenu is an option in gfxmenu enabled GRUB...because not all grubs have it....to allow for a graphical animated or graphical background with no animation to the grub menu. whatever you have grabbed...allow gfx in the menu and grab one of the message files. to make your own try here http://www.sidux.com/index.php?modul...ka&tag=Gfxmenu |
When you say not all grubs have it, is that dependant on my distro, or on my grub version? I have GNU grub 0.97.
Does anyone know how the ubuntu themes gfxboot package works? |
