Unhappy Gforce4 440 go?

I can not get my 440 go to work with my newly converted laptop
I need some insite I am at my ropes end.

Try to download the drivers from Which version of Linux. Redhat, Mandrake and Suse have prebuilt RPMs. You download, install, modify XF86Config and you are set.

That is surprising though since the normal 'nv' driver should have worked. Did you test for X config during the install?
