getting vncserver to work on Fedora

Hi,

Does anyone have a step-by-step guide for getting VNCserver to work on Fedora. I have tried several thing, but I still get a connection refused when I try to connect from my windows system. Both are in the LAN, so there are no hardware firewall issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

jerry

in a fedora shell, run vncserver and look for the X address, like
localhost:1
or
localhost.localdomain:1

then download a vncviewer on your windows machine, type in
theipaddress:1
then it should ask for a password, if that doesnt work, try
theipaddress:0

just try either of those
