Getting unresolved symbol tvec_bases


I am getting one "unresolved symbol tvec_bases" when I insmod linux device driver.I am worling with Linux kernel version 2.4.20.
Any ideas? suggestions? why we get such an error? How to resolve this issue?

is this with a realtek device driver? if so try 'modprobe 8139too' instead. found the answer via a search for "unresolved symbol tvec_bases" here at
