Getting Ubuntu 10.04 to work in a hotspot
 
I have an HP mini 210-1000 running a dual boot of windows 7 and ubuntu 10.04. The problem is that I cannot connect to the internet while a cable was plugged in. Do I need any configurations prior to connection?

netfluz. Now really ... this is not your thread thus your question will not be listed as a thread subject thus you won't get the answers you need. Go to the Linux (wireless) Networking forum and create your own thread you'll get help there.

And yes, you have of course to configure your connection. Open a terminal and type
Code:
sudo networkmanager <enter>
